Why 50% of IES Aspirants Fails At Interview?
Hi Friends,
IES i.e., Indian Engineering Services is an exam for Engineers which is managed by UPSC. Many of students gives the exam.
It Consist 3 main levels which is Prelims, Mains and Interview. To get selected aspirant should have to crack all of these stages.
- First I would like to tell you the weight-age of Prelims, Mains and Interview in IES Exam.
Prelims:- 500 Marks
Mains:- 600 Marks
Interview :- 200 Marks
- The marks of final recommended candidates comprises of the total of marks obtained by him at all stages.
- So I Explain you various permutation and computation
NOTE:- Here I assuming that Candidates appeared in all the stages of EXAM.
1.) If your score is quite well in Prelims and avg score in mains and interview then there is rare chance of getting selected in IES Exam.
Example
Prelims:- 290
Mains:- 300
Interview:- 120
Total :- 710
Result :- Their are 50–50 chances of getting Recommended.
2.) If your score is quite well in prelims and interview and not that good score in mains.
Example
Prelims:- 275
Mains:- 280
Interview:- 150
Total :- 705
Result :- Their are 50–50 chances of getting Recommended
3.) If your score is quite well in prelims and mains and not that good score in interview.
Example
Prelims:- 275
Mains:- 400
Interview:- 100
Total :- 775
Result :- Recommended
4.) If you just qualified in prelims and your score is quite well in mains and interview.
Example
Prelims:- 210
Mains:- 450
Interview:- 130
Total :- 790
Result :- Recommended
5.) If you got avg score in prelims and mains and good in Interview.
Example
Prelims:- 210
Mains:- 280
Interview:- 150
Total :- 640
Result :- Most likely Not Recommended
6.) If you got avg score in prelims, mains and Interview.
Example
Prelims:- 210
Mains:- 280
Interview:- 110
Total :- 600
Result :- Most likely Not Recommended
So after various P&C we will get at least some Idea which part of IES is most important.
What Is Conclusion?
- As per my point of view "Mains Exam" is the most important part of the exam. If aspirant score well in mains and avg score in prelims and Interview his chances of selection will always more.
- So aspirants start preparing for ESE-mains exam which is in July 2018 with more dedication so that your chances of getting selected in exam will also be high.
